The first annual Guelph Games: Masters Multi-Sport Festival will take place in Guelph, Ontario from June 25 – 28, 2020. Masters, a class of sport for veteran athletes over the age of 30 and sometimes centenarians, provides athletes of all abilities the chance to compete in a world-class multi sporting, social and cultural event.

The city of Guelph is a vibrant community of over 130,000 people situated in the heart of southern Ontario and is consistently ranked as one of the best places to live in Canada. Known as “The Royal City”, Guelph is conveniently situated near major highways and three international airports, making these games easily accessible from anywhere in Canada and beyond.

Guelph is a city rich with critically-acclaimed restaurants, exciting entertainment and events, unique one-of-a-kind shopping, and a vibrant, friendly downtown. Guelph is a city like no other, combining the best of big city life, with all the charm of a small town.

The city is also home to the University of Guelph with world class athletic facilities, and the host of the majority of the games. The campus is easy to navigate and the sporting venues are within walking distance of one another.

The community will play a major role in these games as Guelph’s very own youth sports organizations will be running the field of play for their respective sports, students at the Lang School of Business will follow the games as part of the experiential practicum, and of course there will be hundreds of local volunteers.

The Guelph Games have set up The Guelph Games Sport and Community fund with the Guelph Community Foundation. A percentage of funds from these games will be donated to various youths sport and community initiatives in Guelph.
